Earth Day 2025: Our power, our planet.

Be the change. It starts with YOU.

April 22nd marks another Earth Day – a day to pause, reflect, and remember just how fragile, powerful, and precious our planet truly is. Since 1970, this global day of action has brought together people in over 190 countries to stand up for the protection of our Earth. What started as a grassroots movement in the U.S. has grown into a global initiative that’s more urgent than ever.

Your voice matters. Your actions matter.
The theme of Earth Day 2025 is “Our Power – Our Planet”, a call to action to shape the future of our Earth, unite our efforts, and strengthen our commitment in the fight against climate change.

Let’s face it: even though climate change may have faded from the headlines recently, it hasn't gone away. In fact, it’s knocking louder than ever. Extreme weather, declining biodiversity, plastic choking our oceans – the signs are impossible to ignore. And yet, we often look the other way, distracted by short-term noise.

But our long-term well-being is directly tied to the health of our planet.
When nature thrives, we thrive.
That’s why we must relearn how to live in harmony with the Earth. The days of treating it like a never-ending resource are over – it's time to give back.

Natch: A planet’s best friend

Around 75% of marine litter today consists of plastic – both hard plastic and microplastics. That amounts to 4.8 to 12.7 million tons entering our oceans each year. And did you know that plastic can survive up to 200 years in the sea? While some of it breaks down in sunlight, much of it sinks to the deep sea – where it remains for centuries. The pollution is devastating, and countless animals die every year from ingesting or getting caught in our waste.

At Natch, we’ve made it our mission to protect the planet while improving daily life – one routine at a time. Our entire product concept is designed with climate protection, resource conservation, and biodiversity in mind. Our toothpaste tabs are completely free from microplastics, harsh chemicals, or environmentally harmful ingredients – and you can use them without a drop of water.

We believe that real sustainability begins in the smallest moments –
with your morning routine, with what you put in your mouth, and how you treat your surroundings. Our toothpaste tabs come in plastic-free packaging, without questionable ingredients, and without compromise.
Because when you care for yourself, you should care for your world too.
And yes, we believe sustainability can be fun, effective, and guilt-free.

It’s about awareness. Not perfection.

It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about being conscious.

Conscious about what you buy.
Conscious about how you consume.
Conscious about what you take from nature – and what you give back.

Earth Day is a symbol of all that.
A reminder of our power, our hope – and our responsibility.
And every small action matters.

You make the difference.

The team at earthday.org has outlined 9 practical tips that anyone can use to live more sustainably. Small shifts with big impact:

  • Rethink: Buy local and seasonal products. Choose organic and fair trade when possible. Sometimes less is more.

  • Refuse: Do you really need the latest gadget or new item? Rent, share, or swap instead.

  • Reduce: Be mindful with resources and choose long-lasting products.

  • Release: Move consciously – walk, cycle, or carpool. Donate or repurpose items you no longer need.

  • Reuse: Buy second-hand, give things a second life, upcycle.

  • Repair: Broken doesn’t mean useless. Fix what you can, and support local repair shops.

  • Remove: Avoid plastic and unnecessary packaging. Clean up your digital footprint too – it saves energy!

  • Recycle: Don’t let your old phone sit in a drawer. Rare earth materials can be reused. Donate old devices or glasses at designated collection points.
